Built in 1869-70 the Ansonia Opera House was the earliest Opera House in Connecticut. However it has fallen on hard times in modern times, seats have been removed from the main area and turned into a basketball court, dressing rooms converted into ( now abandoned ) offices, storage places for different items, including some mannequins.
My friend Ted Roth and myself spent quite a bit of time moving these mannequins around to different parts of the theater.
Hope you enjoy the arrangements.
Just when I think there is nothing new to photograph! Very creative thinking, Lazlo and Ted. Enjoyed the arrangements very much, but most of all I like the thought that went into the project. Also, good B&W conversion.
Thanks Janice.
Most of the credit goes to Ted for the arrangements, he was the motivator I was a bit lazy as usual.
