Busted

Stanley Works, New Britain

We had the good fortune to get permission to photograph inside of the closed down section of Stanley Works Factory.  Founded by Federick T. Stanley in 1843, originally a bolt and door hardware manufacturing company located in New Britain, Connecticut, was one of the biggest employer in the state . The complex is huge, we hope to get back many more times .

Waiting

An Evening at the Opera

Built in 1869-70 the Ansonia Opera House was the earliest Opera House in Connecticut. However it has fallen on hard times in modern times, seats have been removed from the main area and turned into a basketball court, dressing rooms converted into ( now abandoned ) offices, storage places for different items, including some mannequins.

My friend Ted Roth and myself spent quite a bit of time moving these mannequins around to different parts of the theater.

Hope you enjoy the arrangements.
