Ones more again taking pictures at the old Farrell Co. building, that is slowly being taken over by nature as we speak. More and more of the roof is collapsing and the rest isn’t getting better either 
Things are not looking good at the old factory sites in Ansonia.
The roof has collapsed in one of the buildings and the others are not faring so much better either. Rust, decay and destruction all over….Do make great pictures 🙄
With my friend Ted Roth I have gone back to the old Farrel Co. building to take a few more pictures, possibly the last time. The company, one of the lucky one that survived the onslaught of globalization, moved to a new beautiful compound in the same town, Ansonia. There are still a few items ( plus the old buildings) left to photograph and we made the best of it in the freezing weather.
This might be my last visit to the Farrel Foundry site that is being completely cleaned out by a salvage crew . They have only a couple of days left to complete their operation. Who know what comes next. The wrecking ball ? Quite possible. The building is such a terrible shape, with the roofs partially collapsed in places, water all over on every floor, that fixing it seems to be out of question. So here are a few of the last images I took, some are of the electrical equipment that is being taken out and some of the crashing down old building.
